This young mare is exceptionally elegant. She was elegant as a baby, she is elegant as a young mare and will only become more so with age. Luna possesses an effortless quality to her movement. Light, supple, energetic, floating. And for all the scope she has to her movement, she is incredibly comfortable and easy to sit.
It would seem fitting if such an elegant young lady was a bit high strung and aloof. Not so! While she might consider herself a little princess deserving of special treatment (OK, lets be honest...ALL of my horses believe THEY are special.... and they are!) she has an outgoing, gregarious personality. She loves people, loves being the center of attention and is extremely bold. This one likes to go up and nibble on the tires and check out the engine compartment on the tractor...while it is running. She also makes quite an all terrain vehicle when under saddle.. It doesn't seem to matter what you point her at she will go over, around or through it. Quite a desirable trait for a great trail horses.
