This beautiful seven year old Lipizzan mare is the first foal that we produced at Secret Ravine Lipizzans. Her sire is the imported Piber bred stallion Neapolitano Savona and her dam is our beautiful mare Politica. Prima was sold as a two year old, but has recently returned to us for safe keeping due to the relocation of her owner.
Prima came back with a beautiful filly at her side. If this filly is any indication of Prima's potential as a broodmare, she will be a wonderful producer. The baby is gorgeous and Prima is an exceptional mother.
Although Prima has had extensive ground work she has not yet been started under saddle. She was late to mature and was not started as a four year old and then she was sent out for breed. It is our intent to begin under saddle work with her as soon as the baby is weaned. This mare has far to much potential as a performance horse to only be a broodmare. She has lovely fluid movement, a wonderful free shoulder and bold personality.
