Conversano II Grace ("Gracen")

What can you say about a Lipizzan stallion that spent his life on the road performing with a world renown circus. He lived with a herd of stallions and he never saw any mares.  He never got dirty and he most definitely did not come with a "how to" instruction booklet. Needless to say, life has been very interesting since Gracen arrived at Secret Ravine Lipizzans.

Gracen loves to stand on his hind legs. I know it is not something we should encourage, but who can resist "playing circus".  That's Bob and Gracen playing in the picture at left.

It's very hard to get a picture of Gracen clean, because his second favorite thing to do is roll in the dirt. I guess it goes without saying that his favorite thing is the mares!  Gracen bred his first mares in July of 1997.  He got off to a rather rocky start after all those years of abstinence, but he eventually caught on (maybe a little too well).  So far, his offspring have been gorgeous, beautiful movers, and most important, they have truly exceptional minds.  Bright, friendly, curious and absolutely fearless.

Gracen is the embodiment of the baroque horse of history. Silvery white, with tremendous power, athleticism, and intelligence.  This stallion has a remarkable presence that goes beyond mere physical beauty.  His single most striking feature is his huge, dark eye.  Gazing into that eye you simply know that there is a unique and special soul inside.

Gracen stands to outside mares as well as breeding our own mares.   Stud fee is $1,500 to purebred Lipizzan mares, and $1,000 to all other breeds.  Crossbred offspring can be registered as half-Lipizzan.  Shipped semen is available. All breedings carry a "live foal guarantee".
